Phyllis J. Cannava founded Office Direct Cannava Designs, Inc. in 1989 with the belief that she could provide her clients with great value at reasonable costs. This has become the Mission of Office Direct: “To provide great value… excellent design, outstanding products and flawless installation at a reasonable cost.” Phyllis has dedicated her professional career to this ideal and while it takes more time and effort to find these great products, rather than using the familiar top brands like most do, the rewards for her clients are tremendous. They get “Top Line” quality at a fraction of cost.

As President and Owner, Phyllis is responsible for the strategic vision and direction of the company and its business development. She maintains an oversight role on all projects and is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer and manufacturer relationships.

Prior to founding Office Direct, Phyllis had over 15 years of experience in the interiors, residential and contract furniture industry working for companies like Roitman’s, Harold’s and National Office. At these companies her responsibilities included; design, product selection, space planning, project management and customer relations. She earned a solid reputation for quality, service and seeing projects through to completion; leaving behind projects to be proud of and completely satisfied customers; a reputation that she continues to build upon today.


Meghan Robinson joined Office Direct in 2005 as Senior Designer. She is responsible for leading the design effort and working with Phyllis to transform client program into functional space. Meghan is a very talented and experienced designer who enjoys the challenge of space planning and designing spaces that fulfill client needs. An organized and competent project manager committed to the successful completion of her projects, she has earned much respect and praise from both clients and suppliers alike.

After graduating from Endicott College with a BS in Interior design, Meghan worked several years in the interior design industry before joining Office Direct. She also worked in the very demanding move management industry. These early work experiences molded her project management and client relation skills and are responsible for her dedication to successful project completion. Like Phyllis, Meghan has embraced the Mission of Office Direct: “To provide great value… excellent design, outstanding products and flawless installation at a reasonable cost.”
